  downloaded drumagog, plugged in some mic's and BOOM, real drums! HOW TO USE DRUMAGOG IN REAL TIME All you need is a vst host application that allows real time monitoring (i use cakewalk sonar 6) and an audio interface (sound card) with compatible asio drivers. Set up sonar (or whatever multitrack program you want to use) with 1 track for each trigger microphone ready for recording. In sonar there's a button in each track to enable "live monitoring". Enable your tracks for live monitoring... and you should be able to here sound from each of your trigger microphones. The sound you hear at this point will be the actual real sound coming from each microphone. If there is a delay from the time you make a noise into a microphone, and the time it comes out of your speakers; go into asio control panel and set your latency to the lowest amount of milliseconds (ms) you can without being able to hear any "pops and click" or "skipping". (For me, 4.00 milliseconds is achievable with no audio distortion, and that amount of time is barely noticeable. Thats only about as long as it takes sound to travel from a speaker to the other side of the room anyway). At 4ms i can make a noise into a microphone and hear it in my speakers with a delay that is virtually unnoticeable (~~real time). Next, to make the noises in each track sound like drums instead of the real noise you make into the microphones... add an instance of DRUMAGOG to each track's "effects", and configure each instance to sound ...
